Stanley Jackson Award 2009

SASAS members of any age are invited to submit reprints of their papers to be considered for the prestigious STANLEY JACKSON AWARD. Those papers which have made significant contributions to the atmospheric and oceanic sciences will be considered. Papers to be considered for the 2009 award are those that have already appeared in Scientific Journals in 2008. Candidates must submit their papers by 17 July 2009. The submitted papers are to be reviewed by a panel of 5 referees, yet to be appointed by the SASAS Executive Committee. The award will take the form of a certificate and a cash prize of R2000.00 that will be evenly shared by all the authors of the winning paper. The lead author of any submission must be a member of SASAS.
